I'm working hard here. Hold your applause (or jeers) until I'm done... Lot's of thought is going into all the nominees and all the categories. It's possible that sites nomintated in one category will end up in a different category. Also don't assume that you've seen every single nomination. Many came in e-mail; not preffered, but still read and processed. I'll try to explain some of the reasonings applied once all the categories are all filled.

I'm not sure about that. It seems to have 'evolved' into 'the blogger's blogging award'. (Pretty highly coveted too - from what I can see.)
