The Washington Post has the story of college programs aimed at incoming freshman warning of the dangers of P2P file sharing. It's sort of like Nancy Reagan's "Just Say No" campaign. I'm sure the results will be just as stellar...

When you share files with someone, you're also sharing files with everyone that person has shared files with, and so on and so on.
Practice safe file-sharing.

I'm just waiting for the turf wars between rival filesharing gangs. Personally, I think courts should encourage MP3 addicts to go the treatment route as an alternative to jail, but that's just me.
As long as we can send Shakira-interdiction flights over Colombia, I'm fine with punishment, though.
