The reason I even bring this up is that Fritz, at On the Fritz, has some asshat amatuer pornographer threatening him. Phil is a pro when it comes to tweaking the noses of big corporations, and he goes way beyond anything found in the blogosphere. I found this on his site...

Thanks for the support and the advice. While it is possible the message I received is a hoax, I think it is good to get information about legal issues regarding our blogs out in the open. With certain TV commentators (Bill O'Reilly) making arguments for a complete Internet shutdown, we need to be aware of our rights and the public reach that we have when we publish our journals online. I still find it amazing that thousands of people are reading what is really something that my twin and I do to amuse ourselves.

I doubt it was a hoax, but it was most likely an attempt by the low life to get you to remove the material without having to go out and pay money to a real lawyer. At $200/hr they would tell him he had no case. I agree that getting these kinds of threats out in the open helps us all...
